Where does the data come from?

Every record is a public filing — construction permits from the City of Austin's open-data portal, new sales-tax permit holders from the Texas Comptroller, and TABC alcohol licenses from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Nothing is scraped from a private source or modeled; each row keeps its original filing date.

How often does it update?

Nightly. The ingest run pulls fresh permits, business filings and TABC licenses every night, so anything filed yesterday is on the site today.

What counties/cities are covered?

Austin proper plus the surrounding metro — Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties — wherever the underlying public feed carries a ZIP in that footprint.

What do I get for free vs. paid?

Every list shows its first 10 rows free to anyone. Add your email (free, no card) for the weekly digest and the full lists unlock on the site. Basic ($9/mo) adds the full 90-day history with pagination on every ZIP page. Pro ($19/mo) adds CSV export and priority support.

Is there a free trial, and when am I charged?

Basic and Pro start with a 3-day free trial. A card is required to start it, and the first charge happens at 7:00 AM Central when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you are not charged.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Account, under Plan and billing, any time, no contracts. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for (or the end of the trial), you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.
